Benefits Information

Group Term Life Insurance

If eligible, the Hospital provides life insurance coverage for you. The coverage is two times your annual salary up to $50,000.

Personal Annual Leave (PAL)

PAL is provided for full-time employees and accrued based on length of service. It includes paid time for vacation, holidays, birthday and sick leave.

Group Hospitalization

If you are an eligible employee of the Hospital, you can be covered under a group health plan and the hospital will pay a portion of the premium. See Human Resources for details.

Group Dental Coverage

Group Dental Coverage is available to you and your dependents. See Human Resources for details.

Tax Sheltered Annuities

Tax Sheltered Annuities allows you to defer a portion of your salary (pre-tax). The hospital will match 50% of your contribution up to 7%, after 6 months of full-time employment.

Optional Benefits

Voluntary Term Life, Accidental Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Cancer Insurance can be purchased at the employee expense.

Direct Deposit

Payroll checks can be automatically deposited in the bank of your choice. Payroll is biweekly. The funds will be in the selected bank account(s) on payroll Wednesday.

Rest Break

If you work eight or more hours a day you are eligible to take two fifteen minute rest periods daily if work load permits and at the discretion of your supervisor.

Notary Service

Health Assessment

Each employee will have a health assessment upon offer of employment, and annually thereafter, which is comprised of a Medical History Evaluation, vital signs, and immunization record review.
